About
The founder of Art Is Life Films, Jeremiah Alexis Verdecias has been a filmmaker & educator for over 25 years.
He's produced content and written features for print, broadcast media and brands including Amazon Music, Adidas, ESPN, Insomniac, Twitter, VICE, Tyler The Creator, LA Times, Red Bull, Justin Timberlake and Netflix.
Jeremiah founded Art Is Life Films after returning from Poland with his nonprofit, The Goodness Tour, where they worked with refugee children from the Ukrainian–Russian war. An early adopter of commercially available generative AI, he explored how the technology could support next-level creative applications and education.
Since then, Jeremiah has taught around the world—from the first AI course in the Caribbean through his 2022 summer program in Montserrat to making songs with students in North Carolina who lost their homes after Hurricane Helene. His work spans filmmaking, generative AI, animation, music, education and social storytelling.
